On the topic of Japanese emcees, I can't believe I only discovered who Lyrics Born was a few months ago.
He performs in English so not exactly like MC Boo but I would still recommend checking him out.

I have heard his voice for years guesting on some Jurassic 5 tracks, but never realized he was his own entity.

This was the album that got me hooked: https://open.spotify.com/album/2Aran...R3GAGrVyQgyXYQ

Yeah, he's dope! I very highly recommend his first group Latryx (Lyrics Born and Lateef). Their early work is really innovative and DJ Shadow did a good bit of production for them. They were part of a larger crew called "Quantum" that included another very dope group called "Blackalicious". Those early albums from that crew were insanely dope.

thanks for sharing this Dassen 3 info, here's the song baca baca baca bacaka boo

crazy hearing this in the context of an actual complete song. to be honest i always had it in my mind it was some reggae joint guy, guess i'm not very astute at picking up different languages.

about 1/2 way through the entire album right now and it's not bad. it's not great but it's not bad, though i suspect it grows on you. they sound like their having a blast so that's cool.

thank you adam adam & mike
