Default No B.S.

"I'm not here to fight, or incite
I'm like the beach in the Bahamas make you feel alright"

We all know politicians are in the biz to promote themselves and for the power and money.

So, I'm asking you, the good people of this board, to throw out a list of some points what you think the 2 parties actually stand for and how they can make these UNITED STATES OF AMERICA a better place, for you and me, the PEOPLE.

Maybe you future politicians can sway some of the undecideds or fence sitters.

Please, no bashing, no crying or complaining. No spins. Facts only.

Get loose and goof my little slice of life

You're voting for Kerry even though you don't know what his party stands for? That's bad, very bad.

The Republican party stands for taxing everyone and giving money to special interests--big business, farmers, etc. They also don't like them damn queers and their buttsex, cause Jesus hates that.

Democrats stand for taxing the successful and giving money to poor people. They like homosexuals, but they don't like it when people try to manage their own money or try engaging in free trade.

Both advocate redistribution of property a.k.a. socialism.

The solution lies in neither of the two parties.

You can't seriously answer this question because Bush and Kerry are in the same highly secretive privileged club which numbers only about a thousand.
If we knew that club's agenda we could answer it. The only REAL choice out there is a pure candidate. If there are any of those they don't have the money or backing to seriously contend.
Is it me or does anyone else notice the absolute lack of integrity just sweating out of Bush and Kerry's foreheads?
The goal of both parties is to squeeze every little drop they can out of the working class and the poor. Health insurance is more expensive than a mortage payment but doctors are rich?
Old people can't buy drugs from Canada because they can't afford them here?
Like someone mentioned before, is Kerry a plant by the GOP? Preposterous it sounds but is it? Having to turn your shirt inside out because it says Nike and not Adidas is preposterous too but it happened.
Where is the news coverage for Nader unless it's negative? He doesn't have have anything worthwhile to say? Every speaking occasion now by either candidate cannot have members of the opposite party attending? People need to be coached to "yell their support" for the president?
Is there separation of church and state or not? Why do we have to hear religious right wing christians opinions if they ignore the notion of being not involved in politics religiously?
Does the age old adage the strong were born to prey on the weak really exist here in modern America?
Were we somehow taken over by a race of super-intelligent aliens who are guiding our leaders to manipulate us? Ha that last one is a joke, just to see if you were paying attention.
So to answer the question posed by the thread, PSHAW!

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Hm, you know the extraterrestrial takeover would actually explain a lot of the things that "our leaders" say and do.

Rage's Testify music video is quite possibly the best one ever. If anyone out there hasn't seen it, look for it on a P2P network (I know it's on Kazaa). It was directed by Michael Moore, back when he was still cool. "Launch the mutant now!"
