Old thread bump! Funny.

I never ended up going to therapy. I tried to give it a bit more time.

Getting rid of toxic friends and putting a pause on speaking to my family at the time (who were acting toxic then) helped a lot. Luckily I also met some new friends that helped restore my overall well being.

Hooray.

ive been thinkin about finding myself a therapist to unload all my personal shit on someone i don't know and don't need to care about.

always end up deciding against it though cause i'm thinkin it'll only confuse your mind and all of a sudden you're going crazy.

kind of like unpacking a suitcase in an empty room. you just end up in a mess.

that sucks. i guess just talkin to someone that has what you wish you had will get the job done better than talking to someone who supposedly "understands" the mind.

thats why im thinkin if i ever talked to a therapist it would just be about me unloading shit on them then leaving with 1 less thing to think about.

I keep an open mind about it - maybe one day I'll come across a problem my little brain isn't capable of handling. Hope all is well-er with you :-)

tpk, I'd say just go for it. It's good to have a yarn with someone, and in this instance they're paid to listen.
