Default Mr. Wonderful

I'm going to Bronson's album release party March 24th at Terminal 5 in NYC.

Anyone else going?

I'm peeping it right now. Probably late to the leak party by a few days but that's usually how I roll anyway.

I knew it leaked, but I waited till this morning to listen to it for the first time front to back.

Still digesting it and need to listen many more times.

I can't wait for the show tomorrow night at Terminal 5. It's going to be crazy!

I really wanna see bronson live but I don't see that happening any time soon. I've listened to it once. Not blown away like I was hoping to be, but I guess that's what I get for listening to the singles a trillion times each.

How was it? Setlist.fm shows him as playing the album front to back with amadu Diablo as an encore. Is that true?

It kinda surprised me he added a show there tonight as well.

Just got back.

The show was great! DJ Juanuto spun a 30 minute set of NYC classics and the Peter Rosenberg spun 30 mins of new shit. Meyhem Lauren opened it up with a quick set and killed it. Alchemist DJ'd for Bronson and Justin and Sean from Party Supplies played the keys and guitar.

And yes, Bronson played Mr. Wonderful from front to back with an acoustic version of Amadu Diablo as an encore.

The Fuck That's Delicious truck was outside serving sandwiches and a cd for $15.

They were giving away stickers, posters, temporary tattoos.

Overall it was a great show. It was set up very much like a musical. I'm sure a few people were bummed that he didn't play and "classics". But that was my 4th time seeing Bam Bam so I was excited to hear the new shit. They put on a show, that's for sure.

I took a lot of pics. There a few on my Instagram. I'll post more when I have a chance.

ps. I can't get "I got a brand new car..." out of my head.

Bronson has announced some tour dates. He's in Chicago, April 21, which is my wife's birthday. She has NO DESIRE to go, but is so damn cool that she is letting me take her anyway!

Unlucky bruh, my girl loves Bronson and we just got tickets to see him together for the 2nd time (my third). She also came with me to see Kanye, Chance & Danny Brown. A Bronsonelli birthday would be her favourite shit!

We're going. I'm hoping she becomes a fan! The first time I took her to a Bboy concert she was indifferent and absolutely loved it. She's not really down for standing in GA though. We're almost 40. I ponied up and got the dinner package at House of Blues.

For an extra $75 each ticket (~$230 for the pair after all taxes and fees) we get:

- $100 worth of food/boozes in the restaurant beforehand
- Entry separate from the GA line
- 2 reserved stools at the rail right behind the pit. There are only 44 stools in the whole place.....all must be reserved.

It's pricey but I'm more in the mood to chill and just enjoy it and not deal with the crowd and waiting. If I go GA, I always get front row so not having to deal with that and the waiting and rushing the stage and being boxed in etc is cool for me this time around. We're still going to be very close according to the diagram.

I can't wait. This is my first show since Beastie Boys at Terminal 5.

Same. This will be my girl's second Bronson show. Together we've seen Aesop Rock, Hail Mary Mallon, DJ Abilities, Run the Jewels, Ratking, Despot, Party Supplies, Meyhem Lauren in the last couple o' months.

Shorty is on the couch presently wearing her Blue Chips 2 hoodie watching Captain America. Official.

Went to this show last night. Had a really good time! Bronson killed it. Highlight was him doing Easy Rider from the balcony, hanging out over the pit. He also did "Big League Chew" from his food show. Dinner package with the rail seat is highly recommended.

I'm mad late...

The show was amazing. Even better than the NYC show. It was sold out. Good vibes.

AB has hit his stride with his live shows. I remember seeing him 3 or 4 years ago opening for Slaine and he kept flubbing his lines. Which I never judged him on because he has no hype man and his lyrics can be crazy complex and fast.

But, now he's more comfortable with the crowd and going to his shows are now like an event instead of just another rap show. i think he might of flubbed once.

Anyhoo, it was a early show. It started at 8ish and ended around 10:30ish. Meyham did his thing as always and killed it. Alchemist played a set of just his own production instrumentals. Legendary. AB did a lot of cuts off MWLike 80% or more. And a bunch of hits like Strictly for the Jeeps and The Symbol. Big Body came in and out. Meyham and AB crushed Falconry and 100 MPH. He ended with Easy Rider and then did a encore of 4 or 5 Blue Chips 1 & 2 songs. Which was a relief because his set besides Easy Rider contained no Party Supplies production.

My lil bro had a blast and I was completely washed. Good times!

He has become a very accomplished performer indeed. I still think the best was the first time I saw him in 2012 though- he didn't fluff a single line and I hadn't already heard about his live shows so it was all a beautifully fresh experience. So ill.

Just thinking out loud.
