He was chasing after the ball and didn't see her. She got up straight away so he didn't see the point in apologising. I call bullshit. He completely changed his body's direction. It's not a sexist issue. It's a "Wow, that guy's an asshole" issue. I will agree she took the hit like a champ. That's more than I can say for 90% of the pansies prancing around on the pitch. I watched a few matches over the weekend and it seemed like every 1-2 minutes, some fairy's sprawled out on the ground from getting lightly bumped into. I know trying to draw penalties is a part of every game, but Jesus. It's almost more of an acting workshop than a sport.

He could've just went to the ground after the kick instead of weaving around the defender and launching himself into the girl. The worst would've been him rolling into her.

The ball was still in play, he was chasing it. View blocked by the other player.

He could have not been a dick and helped her up, but the game doesn't stop for fallen players and doesn't stop for a knocked over official. In his mind, he's just kept the ball on it's still in his possession, or at least he can chase it. As he sidestepped the opposing player and back towards the field of play (and after the ball), the official is right there and bang.

It took me a few times of watching it to understand what was happening because I thought how the hell could he do that. I don't even know the player or care for him so it's not like I am sticking up for him for any other reason than it being an accident.
