i can't see how one would consider the depiction of a woman (or a child) who has just been raped to be cool, awesome, genius or whatever.

I know why it's genius, and I don't even like the Guns 'n Roses.

wait, so grandpa raped veruca? that's weird.

I never really understood those GnR t-shirts with the girl with the panties down and the graffiti "guns n roses was here" next to her. when I was a kid, I was like, "wait, what? they raped her? why would they put that on a t-shirt?" and it was really confusing to me since my step sister loved them and my friend had a GnR jean jacket (we were in 3rd grade, ha) and I didn't know why they would like a band that raped ladies.

it also doesn't really make sense because that raping robot is going to be chomped up by that metallic gooey guy. that guy is the hero of the piece, not the rapist, so I don't know what guns n roses were thinking.

Bill Bailey and Jeff Isabelle, AKA Axl Rose and Izzy Stradlin, grew up in my hometown and went to the same highschool and were in the same grade as my dad. Apparently they were lame band dweebs.

Because the Wonka pic is a farce, spoof, whatever you want to call it of a disturbing/iconic (for the 80's) image.

And I find it funny.

It would be like someone laughing as a pic of Max Headroom, but instead of Max, it's Charlie Manson's head. Just becasue you find that funny doesn't mean you condone what Charles Manson did, or thought what he did was cool.
