The things on our heads were wireless headphones and definitely not just 'props'!. The entire point of the silent disco is that you can only hear the music when you're in there with the headphones on, so the people outside just see a bunch of people dancing and shouting and it looks really strange...
It was one of the coolest things I did @ Lowlands, and there were a lot of cool things to see/hear that weekend

They played German Punk songs and 70's disco tracks. It was amazing.
