Re: Beastie Boys Music
It was their latest greatest hits collection. It got better reviews than Beastie Boys Anthology and Solid Gold Hits. There really is no need to release another greatest hits collection after this. It's why I was wondering if anything else is coming next or is this it...
Track listing "So What'cha Want" – 3:36 (from Check Your Head, 1992) "Paul Revere" – 3:41 (from Licensed to Ill, 1986) "Shake Your Rump" – 3:19 (from Paul's Boutique, 1989) "Make Some Noise" – 3:40 (from Hot Sauce Committee Part Two, 2011) "Sure Shot" – 3:20 (from Ill Communication, 1994) "Intergalactic" – 3:51 (from Hello Nasty, 1998) "Ch-Check It Out" – 3:12 (from To the 5 Boroughs, 2004) "(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)" – 3:29 (from Licensed to Ill, 1986) "Pass the Mic" – 4:16 (from Check Your Head, 1992) "Don't Play No Game That I Can't Win" – 4:11 (from Hot Sauce Committee Part Two, 2011) "Body Movin'" – 3:09 (from Hello Nasty, 1998) "Sabotage" – 2:58 (from Ill Communication, 1994) "Hold It Now, Hit It" – 3:27 (from Licensed to Ill, 1986) "Shadrach" – 4:08 (from Paul's Boutique, 1989) "Root Down" – 3:32 (from Ill Communication, 1994) "Brass Monkey" – 2:37 (from Licensed to Ill, 1986) "Get It Together" – 4:05 (from Ill Communication, 1994) "Jimmy James" (Single Version) – 3:04 (from Check Your Head, 1992) "Hey Ladies" – 3:47 (from Paul's Boutique, 1989) "No Sleep till Brooklyn" – 4:09 (from Licensed to Ill, 1986) |

Re: Beastie Boys Music
You can buy it on this very website (https://shopus.beastieboys.com/colle...c-gatefold-2lp)
Of you can find the red and white colored version at Target. Did this really get better reviews than the Anthology? How is that possible? I mean I get that the Anthology stops at Hello Nasty, but for it's time it had so much bonus stuff and unreleased tracks, including pre-LTI stuff. Not to mention the vinyl version was a box set with a full color coffee table book... |

Re: Beastie Boys Music
compilations like these are pretty much review proof. i can see why Solid Gold Hits or Beastie Boys Music would be appealing to the casual fans with one disc and all the hits that they’re looking for. peeps looking for Sabotage and Intergalactic prob don’t want to have skipping through songs like Egg Raid on Mojo and Country Mike’s Theme.

Re: Beastie Boys Music
From 3 weeks ago...
"Mike D Tells Apple Music What’s Keeping Him Busy Outside of The Echo Chamber…: Aside from being a dad. I don't know. I can't talk about, there's something that we're going to start messing around with. So there's that and just a little bit, little bit of music stuff going on. That's about it." Take that however you want. The 'we' could be anybody really. Maybe something to latch onto?

Re: Beastie Boys Music
Mike has been working with his two sons music project Very Nice Person. it’s possible he’s talking about that as well. they have a couple singles out. you can see Mike in some of their IG vids working with them on songs and playing drums.

Re: Beastie Boys Music
Mike and Adam have talked about going through the vault of instrumental jams and other stuff over the past couple of years…but who knows as they take their time. I’m not holding my breath…but maybe one day.

Does that mean those plans may not happen now?
