hey y'all.

ive finally got around to posting pics of my tattoos. please excuse the extreme shitty quality of the photos as they were taken with a webcam made in a country that probably doesnt exist anymore. (put it in H!!!!)

heres my first one i got when i was drunk, a chick friend of mine and i were in the city drinking and we walked past a henna tattoo stall and she told me i should get one, and i said 'no fuck that, if i were to get one id get a real one' so she said 'well get a real one then' and i shrugged my shoulders and said ok!

the next one i got when i traded a one armed bandit poker machine with a dude i know that owns the best tattoo place in adelaide, the ink pit!! i got $1000 worth of tattoos. this one is off tool's album lateralus, changed a bit. it took 5 hours and was worth about $600.

there u go.

I only think it's good to get one if you were in like special forces, ranger or any other elite group.

I've seen too many guys with their old units tattooed on them or their tours overseas and I think that shit's too tacky.

I can't stand to see when people just have plain "ARMY" or even "MARINES". My friend has been in the marines for 15 years and he isn't even considering getting a marine tat. My dad has a marine tat but he deserved it since he's done 6 years in Veitnam.

Anyways, I think you really have to earn it to get one. I've earned my air assault but I still won't get a military related tat. Fucking Axl Rose has a Special Forces tat and it pisses me off everytime I see it.

when i was getting mine done, some guys came in wanting to get their dogtag number, blood type and... unit specification tattoo'd somewhere? can't really remember but they said they wanted to get it done before they "went away".

They're just attention whoring. It's stupid. The dogtags are made of a material that can withstand flames and whatnot just for that reason.

Getting that stuff isn't going to do any good if they roll over an ied and get torn to pieces. Their dogtags infact will still be in one piece for identity.

My friend had a tat that went all the way around his neck with dotted lines that said, "Cut here". hahaha.
