ok well maybe I got the numbers wrong then, but it's really not about that. |
Re: The Family Album
maybe it was just 70 hours for your particular group?
aint no thang. in a corporation employees would get fired because their time would come at the expense of that corporation. in volunteering, because people are working for free, it doesnt really matter how many people it takes to get something done, so long as it gets done. its possible that many of the people there had never 'volunteered' before. if they had an easy time at this event where all or most of the goals were met, at the very least, those people might be more likely to volunteer again thanks to this pleasant experience. i dunno. why dont' yall fight it out in a mudpit while wearing bikinis or something. |
Re: The Family Album
so i went to that bonnaroo music fest, and had a great time...most of my pictures came out kind of grainy since it was so dusty and i suck at photography
the one shot that i am in tool had some seriously crazy lights and lasers but they were out done by the flaming lips widespread panic closed out the weekend with an excellent jamfest and i spent about 4-5 hours each night sleeping in this lovely thing, only to wake up in a pool of my own sweat |
