i know this isn't me, but i wanted to share it..

took this photograph mid-poker obsession. i <3 it a lot. i'm going to blow it up and hang it in the flat.
from left : bonny, scott's drummer > flatmate scott > flatmate sarah.
i love the relationships you can see in it: bonny checking his cards, scott sitting back seriously examining his next move, sarah blowing smoke rings (her mouth looks weird cos of the shutter speed) and trying to out-suss bonny, the smoke, the empty cans of stella (class!) the enormous pot of SIX POUND COINS that we're playing for. i love it! it also looks weirdly like scott has no eyes! agh!
btw, i came fourth. hence me taking the picture.

reminds me that my sister gave my hub a real poker set for xmas and we haven't played with it yet. must change that!

i shoulda spelt that bonney. that's his surname. his first name is ross. we don't call him bonney cos he's pretty :cool:

b-grrlie, i am like super impressed with your identification of ikea lamp! really! scott's room is an ikea palace. the lamp in the background you can't quite see is also an ikea purchase. that wasn't working. i actually think the clear ashtray is too. good old reliable ikea eh?

Well I live just a few miles from the worlds first IKEA and those lamps are everywhere here. And that thing you're using as an ashtray is actually a tealight holder. They're like 2 kronas each here...
