thinking back there were actually at least 3 girls at that party, maybe more, they just didn't want to play the game where you get electrocuted if you lose for some reason

Saw Dub FX twice in the last week, once at a big club venue and the 2nd a secret gig in a bar. These pictures are from the first one, but at the 2nd he chilled with me before and chatted for like 20 minutes/bought me a drink. He's a very cool guy indeed (his girlfriend Flower Fairy is awesome too). See if you can spot me- not hard.

Oh, I made that in '04 or '05.

Edit: I was surfing through my photobucket account and found it. It would be great for him to stop by and give us an update.

That's it. I'm moving to Australia. Fuck this snow shit.

This is from last Monday, it had just started.

The freaking plow truck got stuck on my street.

He popped a tire off the rim.

This was the snow that was ahead of him.

I feel your pain...we got close to 20 inches here in Boston. Thankfully the warm weather has melted most of it.

the only time when snow is good is when you're like ten

Re: The Family Album

that's insane eric - we used to get something close to that in Buffalo on occasion, surprisingly enough here in the mountains it's been quite mellow and pleasant.

Maybe a couple of inches here or there - it's almost gone along the lake.

Re: The Family Album

My neighbors that have been here 30+ years said that they have never seen it this bad, in my area.

Luckily I was on vacation or I would have no other choice but to call off from work. My wife was supposed to work but she had to call off because the trains weren't even running.

And this is what it looks like after a day or 2, now Adam, tell me you like massive piles of dirty, shitty snow.

We got less than half of that and the country fell to bits.

Maybe Adam means snowfall like that warrants the ordeal we had to go through.

Yes, but they could of left it unploughed in other places. Not everywhere is a city, I live in the suburbs so snow on the non-urban routes where ploughs and gritters don't reach last longer (y)

The difference in the UK is that we don't always get snowy winters so spending on infrastructure to clear snow is not needed, it's better taken out of an emergency budget and react to it but that does mean slower going. Although, for the past two years we've had a bad winter and because our memories are short, we think the UK suffers more and is less organised than countries that do have snow every year and manage to clear it - we think we get snow every year and fail at dealing with it when we actually get very little snow and it's a fair bet to spend money on other things.

When we get major snow storms it cheers everyone up, so what we're all losing pay - I feel bad for those that will struggle more because of it (as I am kinda now) and I don't want to see anyone hurt because of the weather (look after the elderly and vulnerable etc should already be a priority so I am not saying glad anyone is dead) but the trade off is some unexpected fun for the majority for a few days despite the inconvenience of a few (mainly journalist it seems). Climate change means more freak weather conditions but if we embrace it we'll learn how to get along with the damage we do rather than it making us more miserable. The same thing I hope we learn to do when we get more 30+ degree summers to (y)
