OK......they just announced a show for Toronto and for Ottowa.....

Here's my dilemna: I live in Rochester, NY.......Toronto is the closest so far (only 3 hrs), but i have to deal with all the border bullshit....

I saw them in Toronto back in 98, and it was amazing....

but back in 2001( or was it 2000?), they were sheduled to play in buffalo, NY (rhyme and reason tour)...buffalo is only 1hr away and NO BORDER....and much cheaper drive.
As we all know, Mike D broke his collar bone...and that was that....No show!

So what do you all think?.....will the beasties add buffalo onto this tour (which would be the next logical step after toronto or canada in general)...or should i just bite the bullet and go to the toronto show?

i was hoping they would make an effort to hit all the places they had to cancel on back in 2001...which would include buffalo....
but if i sit around and hope, i could miss out on the toronto show completely if they don't ......

It appears that the tour has been set and St. Louis is not included. The Beastie Boys have come to St. Louis every time they toured; why not this year, after making us wait all these years, after the tour was cancelled after the last album? I wrote to Contemporary Productions, the local company who books acts in this area & asked them what their problem is. Many acts skip this city in favor of Chicago and Detroit. We have a lot of good venues here; we should be given the consideration that Detroit gets. Please don't be like all the other acts that overlook the dedicated fans here like me!

there's no need to shout out places you want them to play as there is currently no tour on the schedule. my suggestion is just sit back and relax and maybe wait for the live dvd to come out. (y)

yeah im pretty sure that this threaed is just so that there aint heaps of threads saying "come to *insert country here*" theres prob no point saying anything in this thread as i doubt the bboys or tour manager will look at it and be like " o mcmac wants us to go to australia lets go there tommorow"
