I found out that BB fan club members could purchase tickets before the general public sale. I being a fan, signed up to take advantage and purchased four tickets labelled as "best seats available". Spending $240 for this event was no sweat. We were pumped.
We showed up Nov 8th with booze and concert tee's in hand ready to fight for our right to party. Our seats were terrible, we had a side view of the entire concert. I believe my exact words were "are you kidding me? this is how you treat your fan club members?" We missed all of the lights, TV's, pretty much the entire show set up. The music echo'd throughout the staduim and eventually bounced back our way in the nose bleeds.
Although I still made the best of it and rocked out, my friends left to try to sneak onto the floor.
A friendly message to the Beastie Boys, please speak to the powers that be to make sure your connection with the ticket agency is truly looking out for your deticated fans.
Disappointed, Little D.

although i do feel bad for you, next time, before buying tickets, lookat a seating chart so that you know where they are.

ignorance is not an excuse.

Well, i don't think it's their fault.

I bought pre-sale tickets to Ottawa and though i had choice seat.

I check to capitaltickets the day of the show to see if they were sold out..i was just curious...and guess what ? it proposed better seats then i had... !!!

I think tickets company reserve the very best seats... and if they don't need it, put it on sale at last minute ! I don't know what this is about.. but it had already happen to me in the past... i bought tickets about 2 days before a show that was almost sold out weeks before and i had the most amazing seats !
