An eighty year old friend of the family and had stuck on a 1 pence stamp on a letter

a card came through the door 'YOU MUST PAY £1.20p' excess or something

so,the post office got £1 in the end for 'handling' charges

poor old guy probably thought the 1 on the stamp meant '1st class'

pensioners should be able to send letters for free cos' that's what they know best,writing letters,not all of them can afford computers let alone learn them

I used to be a postman years ago but glad I'm not now
