i've not seen it, but i did watch a 2 hour a&e special called decoding the past, where they talk about the book and things that are historically accurate and where dan brown decided to tweak things. it was quite interesting, actually.

I really want to see it because I'm not much of a critque expert being that I've read the book already. I can enjoy these type of things without watching it and saying, "it's not like that in the book" and be dissapointed throughout the whole movie.
I'm looking foward to it.

same. ron howard did a good job, it lacked the same amount of content that the book had but its kinda impossible to put the entire book into a couple hours of film. its worth seeing(y)

Did Ron Howard voiceover scenes with shit like : "Unfortunately, Robert Langdon mistook Silas' interest as romantic, and felt a competitive streak coming on..."?

p.s. The new X-Men movie, all the Star Wars movie, um, a LOT of movies for that matter. Or hey, let's talk about Paul Revere...
do you think any of THAT REALLY HAPPENED?
It's entertainment for god sakes. I haven't even read this damned book nor seen the movie but people talking about how it's bullshit, well no fucking shit. It is called FICTION and a MOVIE FOR A REASON.
So if you want to point this one out as being bullshit, might as well point that out about the other threads talking about movies that are fiction.

does Audrey Tatou get her tits out?

I'd rather trap my knob in the fridge than go and see it...
However, if Tatou gets her cans out and you chuck in a Dalek leisurely masterbating in the corner - i'm there!

i saw the movie, but i haven't read the book. the movie was ok...the acting was a bit weird at times and i almost fell asleep towards the end because it was long.
the continuity could have been better - at one point, amelie's hair was all messy & dishevelled, then in the next scene it was back to perfect again. i wish my hair would do that.
