heres what going to school in iowa does to someone. i worked on this over the course of a couple years at university, whenever i felt like stabbing myself with a caligraphy pen. its ben about 4 years since i first started it, and it hasnt faded at all!! the far left side doesnt tattoo well, certain parts of the foot i learned, are a bitch to tat.
i imagine that when im an ol geezer, its going to be amess. oh shit oh well. i enjoyed doing it.

What a sad thing...onm Sunday evening I had to take off my eyebrow piercing... I had it since aprile but on June I had an accident with it (I snatched it while combing my fringe....with the comb) and it started getting "ill"....I tried to cure it but there was no way to keep it in good conditions....so on Sunday evening I took it off....now it's quite ok, but immediatly, after I took it off, this were the conditions of my eyebrow!

I've been thinking of a design I want to get - it would be a kind of half sleeve, I guess. But I have a lot of freckles so I don't know that it would look good or if you can do it over freckles. Hrm. Got my second on Monday morning - a praying mantis in the hollow of my left shoulder, perched on a vine that runs along my collarbone and forks at the end so another branch with leaves runs around my back. I'm super happy with it but it needs some sharper colouring. I'll try to get my guy to send a pic over.

wow. just reading this thread is neat. so many people with so much art and so many different opinions on them. being a girl that has lots of tattoos, i hear similar opinions like these often. My thought is, i LOVE a man with a ton of tattoos, the more they have, the hotter he is. it's my thing. and i happen to have a man that loves a girl with lots of tattoos. i'm not going to stop getting them b/c tattoo is what i truly love. so it's really cool to me that so many people are so different in the world. it's good that some people think i look "trashy" and others think it's neat. if everyone thought it was awesome dynamite outta site then it wouldn't be "alternative" i guess.

my husband and i both have these cards tattooed on us. we got married in vegas in '03 and these are essentially our "wedding" tattoos. king and queen of hearts and 6/10/03 is when we were married. his tattoo is completely different but they both have the cards in them. we wanted to have something on us that represented that day since we've vowed NEVER to get our names tattooed on each other. that's just a no no. he also has a "true love" tattoo he got when we were together for a year. thank goddness it worked out!

i am so DREADING the shading and color work. it hurt so damn bad the first time. i seriously had to have a bite stick. it's going to be gorgeous though. the showgirl fans are going to be peacock colors with the dice being red.

Haha. I don't know, I thought I would have mentioned it.

Its a half-open lotus flower and some foliage. Its pretty big. I do have a hard time hiding it if I need to. I would have to wear full boots or pants that cover most of my shoe.

I also have a floral band on my other ankle. :o It was my first tattoo and reminds me what a silly girl I was at 18.

Anyway, I have thought about an inside of the wrist tattoo for a long time. Not sure if I'll ever do it, though. I think I might be done with tattoos for awhile.

Yeah right - I worked with some highschool kids, and one guy tattooed an American flag on his own chest with the word "leadership" over it. Tattooed some barbed wire on his arm.
