Okay y'all, I'm sharing this great recipe that was passed to me one recent autumn. Every time I make these someone asks for the recipe. They're delicious!
Apple Brownies
2/3 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts (I use walnuts)
1 cup chopped apples, your choice (I use Gala; Fuji has also been recommended)
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Mix in flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in apples and nuts. Spread in a greased 9x9 pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes.
Enjoy!
