i'm wondering not just what US citizens are thinking about getting the Clintons back in the white house, but also what those from other countries think.

Meh. I'm not a fan.

She's probably among the smartest of the candidates running, but I have very little trust in her.

Hillary lies. She told viewers during the Democratic debate that all the Republican candidates who were to take the same stage the following evening were pro-war. I know from what I've learned in the Ron Paul thread that he alone is strongly opposed to the war. That claim alone by Clinton disturbs me. :(

Clinton is inconsistent. She is power hungry. Look at her political career. And her marriage with and to Bill. Odd.

It's another legacy that scares me, first the Bush's now the Clintons'. These people dine together, let's get new blood in there.

Even if Hilary is elected (hahaha) at least we'll have Bill back in the White House.

I love Slick Willie.

If Hillary does make it to The White House, a big reason will be nostalgia for hubby Clinton. She's certainly not my first choice, but if we have a second Clinton administration, I'd welcome it.

But I want a President Gore or a President Obama first.

I am not down with Hilliary, but her recent campaigning has been brilliant. She has the ability to read the current pulse of the American people and capitalize quite well on it.

Of course I'm referring to the Sopranos (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-398518940568102156&q=hilary+sopranos+ad&total=14&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=0)takeoff ad that just started running. Genius, it does everything the very best advertising has ever done and no negative campaigning is involved at all.

Heres to an excellent idea that I hope blooms into a viable new way to campaign.

I don't think Hillary has a chance in hell at winning this election. Even if America was ready for a female head of state, I don't think a majority of them are going to support this particular female.

Well, first you'd have to overthrow Harper, and then I guess you could work on getting them their citizenship. :p

Pity there aren't any black women running for office?

I'd vote for her on principal.

Here in the UK, we have to decide between a toffee-nosed fraud and somebody who has been robbing us blind for the past ten years.

Oh joy.

Very true. I am at a loss why the other democratic powers-that-be do not see this. After all, this IS about winning in '08 isn't it?

seems odd. I mean,i have my opinions on the US president, i think all world citizens have an interest in it, but using the term "we" seems odd, that's all.

Yeah, the language does sound like I'm in the US, but I do also mean "we" as in the whole world. You know, "leader of the free world" and all that stuff. It effects us all who the current and next President is.

Lib Dems are a wasted vote.

I wish Labour would split and the people on the left (wap bam boogie) would have someone to vote for... although I can't quite think of anyone in the Labour cabinet I WOULD vote for. Robin Cook would be my first choice, but he's dead. Clare Short, if she came back into politics, or started her own party or Hilary Benn.

Fukkit, I'm voting for Gorgeous George Galloway (http://www.georgegalloway.com/)!!!

I like both Gore and Obama, but Gore isn't running and I don't think Obama is electable. I think Hillary stands the best chance. I would love to see Obama as her running mate.

Someone mentioned a black woman running....I've always been partial to Cynthia McKinney.

For now, my vote is with Hillary.

You have to be kidding. Or there is another woman with that name?

I've decided that I'll vote for whoever the democrats pick this time. I think it's the only way to save the country. We can't afford 12 solid years of republican appointees to the courts and to running all the federal agencies.

I don't know, Obama is quite good at raising money, and since it seems the one with the most money wins, it could happen.

Is this the one that assaulted a Capitol building security guard because he didn't initially recognize her as a Congresswoman? She was batshit insane.
