My girls away till tomorrow and My mum lives too far away. It just dawned on me that I have no idea how to properly do it. I've spent too much time honing my graphic design skills and forget about learning some basic life skills!!!!! lol

Now, How do you boil an egg?...

Turn the duvet cover inside out and then hold it in the corners (i.e hands inside)
Stand on a chair.
Pick up duvet.
Shake cover so it falls over and down the duvet, with the outside showing.
Button up.
Place on bed.
Done.

There is actually a german version of this: www.frag-mutti.de
I read the "success story" of the two geeks who founded it a week or so ago.
It's very popular with merchandise and community meetings of wealthy, successful, young and butt-ugly bachelor idiot savants. Just take a look at the founders:

I've used Ians Shoe Lace Site before.

http://www.shoe-lacing.com/shoelace/

An excerpt...

I tie my shoelaces with an "Ian Knot", the World's Fastest Shoelace Knot: Make a loop with both ends and simultaneously pull them through each other to form an almost instant knot. Don't confuse this with the very similar looking Two Loop Knot - the technique is quite different and much faster. It's a truly revolutionary way to tie your shoelaces!

How can you not love a website like that.

You have never heard of a duvet? It is a soft and comfortable bed cover. Much like a quilt or comforter but much softer. You buy a duvet cover and stuff it in and bada bing. Your bed is ready for sleep. We use a duvet and not sheets. It is very comfortable. I first slept under a duvet when I visited Germany.

all i have on my bed is the fucking sheet that raps around the matress and a fucking blanket and a pillow. anything more just becomes too cumbersome and retains too much heat.
