Paying more taxes than others is "neighborly"

In his interview, Barack Obama just told Bill O'Reilly that mandating that the wealthiest Americans pay more taxes than others is "neighborly".

Are you serious? That is how he justifies his tax plan? I may have given this guy wayyyy to much credit up to this point. What the fuck is so "neighborly" about the government taking a disproportionate share of your money away from you and your family? Criminal would have been a better choice of words.

Because I'm sure all the new, higher taxes that those big bad businesses would have to pay wouldn't be passed on to the consumer or result in any lay-offs to jobs employing Joe Avarage American Dad.
I'm sure they'll just absorb the extra taxes because it's a "neighborly" thing to do.
