Can anyone tell me where this beat came from. I really want a good instrumental copy of it other than the mmm 30 minute masacre version.

Man, I have no idea but the drums sound like DJ Shadow's "Drums of Death" instrumental.

pm0ney the drums of death is way to new to be that beat. That beat is hella hella old. I will have to ask some of my vintage DJ friends.....

yes ... i have heard that beat before is older than drums of death ...

who ever it is i think that may be a sample of george michael's father figure ... or not ...

im also trying to figure it out

both use samples of george michaels father figure ... i think someone may of sampled the father figure sample or llcj 's song itself

i knew it was george michael's father figure sample for the synth chords from the jump ...

i think the drum sample used by jungle brothers is Sly and the family stone's sing a simple song
