I also feel that the drugs I have done have broadened my horizons. Not that they've made my life better, or worse for that matter.

Well weed kinda has I guess. I like to analyze films when I'm high because I get really really into them and notice every little detail. I've also found that
my mind has naturally began to be more open and imaginative whether I am stoned or not.

I think people who've never done anything have a general idea that you're either a) not in control or b) going to become addicted. Once I realized that this isn't the case (with the ones I have done), it was really an enjoyable experience.
But I haven't done anything too out there.

I have dealt with drug addiction in my family and it's not pretty. But I feel safe in that I will never let things get out of hand.

I'd rather be high than drunk any day of the week.
