Wendy's
So, Sunday/Monday I was just chilling in Miami airport and to kill the time I ate a Wendy's Triple Quarter Pounder (that's 3/4 pound of burger for those not good at maths) and oh my it was the best fast food burger I have ever had.
a) It was huge, which is good. b) It tasted awesome. c) The cheese was proper melty. d) The patties were square. Obviously I have eaten gourmet burgers and expensive burgers and homemade burgers, but in the league of McDonald's, Burger King et al. this was easily the best burger I have eaten. Why are they not global? Why are they not on my high street here in the UK ready to get smashed in by looters? In other news I finally managed to eat a KFC Double Down.

Re: Wendy's
Wendy's is like the gourmet of American fast food. I usually don't order a burger though...I am obsessed with the taco salad. and you can't beat a frosty.

Re: Wendy's
Wendy's isn't over there, yet? That's odd. I thought all of our large fast food chains had managed to infest the planet.

Re: Wendy's
Wendy's about 1/4 mile from work, only eat there occasionally, we have a lot of independent burger joints close by that have much better burgers. + We have an In-N-Out 1-1/2 miles away from work, and about 6 miles from my house. In the last few years, we now have Farmer Boys, great breakfast, great service, and pretty damn good burgers 1/2 mile from home..
Wendy's comes in fairly low on my list when it comes to going out and getting a great burger. Independent places, Numero Uno! In-N-Out after that.. I will admit, their burgers are tasty though.. Oh, and their chili is actually damn good.

Re: Wendy's
as fast food burger places go, i would say that wendy's tops my list on the list of places i can go to that probably won't give me diarrhea
i won't lie, taste-wise, i do enjoy a good burger king whopper, so burger king edges out wendy's in that category, but i'm never happy with myself in the hours that follow. wendy's is relatively safe, though. and then there's the dollar menu! you can get like 5 junior bacon cheeseburgers for less than the price of one better burger at a better place. not a bad bargain, not really. especially when you consider the fact that it probably won't give you diarrhea i think about diarrhea a lot when choosing my meals. it's a large part of why i don't want to go to india ever |

I've pretty much got the "Cast Iron" gut, so I'm good most places. Wendy's is one of the only (fast food) places you can get a Baked Potato!!!!! And it's actually pretty damn good, and it's not a micro-potato.

Re: Wendy's
when i was in high school, they had a chicken ceasar pita wrap. i still jerk off thinking about it. i ate ot twice a day for probably a year. then they took it away from me. I like the spicy chicken sangwich.
a gross statistic about five guys is that a large fry with cajun is over 1500 calories. |
