It's hard to beat the guys playing to a few people in the Enties parking lot. Paul's gigs were awesome, so were the Check your Head shows. I think I have to go back to their Paramount show in Seattle in the 80's. Hard to beat the first time you saw them.

I've seen them 10 times since 1994. By far the best show was 95 MSG. The place went insane for them. Close would be 1997 TFC and 2006 Hiro Ballroom.

95 MSG was crazy! Flava coming out to promote his radio show and getting boo'd off stage then going with "The Beastie Boooooys, they are coming home..." The place did go crazy. We took the train up from Philly for that show, def worth it!

I would love to get a recording of that show! It's funny howdifferent the atmosphere was in 2004. People were animals in 1995 (in a good way).
