It seems like I have thought of getting one several times in the last 15-16 years.

At 19, I was contemplating a "Boys will be Beastie" tat. About 5 years ago I was going to get this logo:

minus the "Beastie Boys" and the slogan below. My career involves basketball and I thought it would be cool on the inside of my forearm. Never did it.

Now, I'm thinking about getting a "Long Burn the Fire" tat of some type but haven't thought of the design. I'm probably too damn old for tats now anyway.

I had already decided weeks ago that I would get a portrait of Yauch, small one.. nothing crazy. I just want something that represents his spirit and kindness and then I'll add a lyric with it. A friend of mine told me she could get me to the best place Houston has to offer. I want somebody that knows their shit on portraits.

My brother went out and got a "Time for Livin'" tattoo above his heart. After I had mention that's more a Mike D song he said it was for message of the song and the life and inspiration of Adam. I agreed and now I'm considering doing the same thing.

Also for years I've been trying to come up with a mural sleeve on my leg with images of things through out their career an my growing up with them.

I've been tossing around ideas for something to honor yauch for a few days.

I'm thinking of "WWMCAD?" on my wrist... the answer ofcourse being do something to positively influence and impact the world around you.

i would choose one of him smiling, i meant that a beautiful picture, but every time your going to look at it...it will bring back sad memories of him passing away. Just my thoughts though!

OK thanks. I have another one in mind but he's much younger. Hmmm. God girl my photo contact emailed me out of the blue and said that she was so sad for me and sent her condolences. I hardly know her, she just gets me photos I need but it's sweet. She then told me that she's going to unearth every Adam photo she can possibly find and send my way. She's already sent me some funny shots of him on the set of "She's on it!" His face is all caked with explosion lol. And then she sent me a set of him in the lab. I will hopefully get all of that updated soon in the gallery.

Also if anybody has personal photos you want to showcase at beastieboysgallery.com please let me know. I've set up a tribute category to store fan photos and other tributes we find on our Man MCA.

Yeah like if i were you, ( and when i comes time for me to get a tattoo of him im going to do the same thing) i would just sit down and look at each of his pictures and find which one sticks out to you personally, y'kno.

I would want a portrait where he is looking at the camera---such a soulful face.

I've never even contemplated getting a tattoo but love the RIP MCA logo thats been circling. That would be my first choice.
