Bwahahahahahahaha!

Interestingly enough, when one of my friends first saw that jacket, the first thing he said was: "You look like one of those guys from Jet!!"

I was hoping he would think The Strokes or someone infinitely better, but seeing as how he's one of those "pod people," that's probably the only "garage rock revival" band he's aware of.

P.S. - That Harris Tweed jacket belonged to my late grandpa and I recently stumbled upon it when my grandma was cleaning out his stuff. So wooo, in your face vintage stores.

The vintage stores around here are all actually quite cheap. As in... cheaper than a regular store. Not that I shop at them (or any clothing stores for that matter) but... you know. Just saying.

It's funny that when I die my friends will get to see what kind of suit my mom buries me in.

are they vintage clothing stores, or just used clothing? the only real difference is that vintage stores only take "fashonable" clothes and jack up the prices. Used clothing is great because I find cheap pants there all the time. I don't think I've bought new pants in four years.

hmm. I must be seeing different vintage clothing stores. Around here, they're all hipster stores that appeal to the indie and emo kids with tons of their parents money.

They're vintage... except the ones i've been to have a lot of shit in them aswell. As in... i've seen WWF and Monster Truck and all that sort of stuff t-shirts and some pretty ordinary looking jeans and such in there. So it's almost a mix of ordinary used and vintage. Nonsense I tell you.

They seem to have a much better selection for women though. My girlfriend has a few great finds.
