a couple of burn stains on the frame, toiletpaper burnt randomly to the bike and a bad smell. I was lucky my gel saddle didn't catch fire

I think it's quite normal. I've seen that style quite regularly. It nothing that out there to begin with. Now if she had it in neon fuschia and cerulean orange then maybe. But that is quite Meet the Parents, Dressy but not too dressy. Comfortable even.
