The opening.... credits? With the marbles and watch and crayons and stuff? I'm trying to remember the shots after that. Is it a high wide angle on the street and houses....?

The DVD is incredible. There is a couple of short documentaries that are thought provoking. Everytime I watch To Kill a Mockingbird I feel happy & calm. I love that film.

I almost decided to go at one point, Sunday, but... it really does look like crap, and a truly bad Spider-Man movie would be kind of depressing.

The first one, I thought, was close enough to being bad without seeing one go all the way with it.

But, fuck, yeah -- I was having a coffee right across from the theater Saturday morning and the theater had a sign on the box office window saying that all nine Spider-screens were already sold out for the day. Dang!

I saw it yesterday. It was pretty bad. Venom looked very cartoony and during the final scene in which spidey is crying, the whole audience in the theatre busted up laughing. There was some pretty bad acting, extremely confusing sequences (confusing because they were so bad you assumed you had to be missing something) and the emo haircut is just as bad as it sounds.

I really thought it would be better than that.

It was very rushed, things jam-packed to get the last stuff in as mentioned before.

I would have liked to see a more fleshed out story of spider-man/venom damn it. Oh well.

Yeah I agree. The whole movie should have been about that. we here in the office have been nerding it up about this for days now. Venom ain't something you shorthand. they fucked up the whole gwen stacy thing too.
the Spidey Parade was pretty sweet though

im no comic guru, nor am i a film buff, but spidey 3 was entertaining...especially since the theatre had vanilla coke on tap...mixed with 7/8ths diet coke..YUM.

james franco is a nice piece of eye candy
the cgi spidey ass was nice
kirsten needs to shave down those fangs..

I watched a great majority of Spider-man 3 on Youtube last week, including the fight scenes with Venom and I have to say...this film isn't as good as I hoped it would be. You can tell Sam was forced to put in so much to his displeasure and I wonder if he made this a shitty film out of spite.

I feel that Kirsten Dunst has the WORST speaking voice ever. The generic white girl twang is just horrible. So... nasal.

anyways, end of the day, it's just a movie. Yes, it's flawed, but it's also enjoyable. Just a silly movie bout a radioactive spider-human hybrid fighting a human-sand hybrid. Oh and a human-spider-black-space-goo hybrid.

Its got some great bits, and some terrible bits.
