hpdrifter - ha that's awesome My bangs were actually straight across (a bit fringed out though, not hard-edged), but I was sweating so they got swooped like that. Then last week I got them cut in to hard-edged bangs (latest photo).

bangs can be a pain in the ass since I have naturally wavy hair, but when I get them under control I am happy

No, haven't been there. We were at Buehring for some time though. It was pretty good there. I always get jealous when we go through US bases, makes our Brit ones feel so poor and 2nd rate. Especially the chow halls.

Beuhring was just getting bigger by the time I left. My company had an armsroom there but I've never been there. Passed by a few times when I went to Camp Yankee.

Looking at those pics, I realize I don't miss the sand much. I suppose you're on your way to conquer bigger tasks. Take care and eyes open and post every so often.

here''s a little story of when I was pulling guard duty at the gates of Camp Doha, which shut down in '05.

Our guardshack was right next to a Kuwaiti police shack and they have these tcn servants that serve them chai and stuff.

It's like 4am, me and my buddy are chillin', bullshitting with each other and we heard screams come from the kuwaiti hut. We're thinking "WTF is that?"

We look over and one of the servants comes running out of the Kuwaiti police hut and running after him was a Kuwaiti police officer with his pants to his ankles yelling "get back here!!"
