Thank yousss.

Just fyi, I didn't put him in that pot to simulate some Anne Geddes crap or anything. He went and got it on his own, I just found him like that.

Right, because you're in the habit of leaving pasta pots sitting around on the floor.

If he thinks that's how you cook pasta, he's pretty dumb. I mean, how is he even going to lift it off the floor when he is INSIDE of it?! Did he think of THAT?!

Thanks Ms Crafty. My cat Grendel is almost 15. She was a stray that I took in and she is a good friend. Everyone always comments how she is the most laidback and friendliest cat they have seen. She comes when I call and stops when I say stop. She is having kidney issues so I am not sure how much longer she will be with my family. I will be a sad man when her day comes because she has been with me thru thick and thin. She is tough so I am sure she will stick around for several more years.

Here is a photo of me and my son floating on the Dry River from this past weekend. It is really a mountain creek near the Va/West Va border. I have a cabin that we visit to get away on weekends. There is a deep swimming hole and many other places to cool off.

Me and my boy.

Raising the kiddos to appreciate good Bboy music has been a BLAST. Here is the family...disregard the findurmessage stuff...

Nice to see everybody with the kiddos....they're GREAT!

And here we are...nice little mix of The Beatles, Buddy Holly and The Mamas and the Papas....when you have as many kids as we do - gotta keep them all happy! I'm actually working on a Bboys mix with Roy Orbison for my son...I'll post when complete...take care -

Definitely time to stop making him wear this one - label says 6-12 months and he's nearly 3! My daughter is 12 months though............

Thanks! By the way, that guy riding the bike in the background is my brother in-law Uncle Bob. It is the Greenbriar Rail Trail in Marlinton, West Va. It is a beautiful trail in the mountain valley that winds along the Greenbriar River. It is beautiful. Look it up on the net and if you ever have a chance make the trip.

Grendel is still kicking. She was having real problems with her kidneys so I put her on wet cat food and I make sure she always has lots of water. She is 15 so she moves slow but she is still by my side most of the time. The other day she caught a bird so she still has some speed and hops. I am taking her to the Vet on Monday for a check up and blood work. She now has a new nemesis named Winston Churchill. He is a Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mix that likes to jump on her and play. She attacked him for months but now Grendel is used to his antics and she nuzzles up to him. You can't tell from this photo because she looks like she has evil plans for Winston. Thanks for asking.

LOL, I just thought of this thread and since he is fourteen now, and going to be starting high school next year, I'm not going to post anymore pics of him, but this parenting stuff is just so weird. It's weird being 6'1" and having your fourteen year old son looking at you at eye level. It's weird sitting in the stands at one of his basketball games, and witnessing a crowd full of complete strangers cheering for your son just as loud as you are. It's weird truly seeing your little boy becoming a young man.

I love you, son.

Always.
