I've not long had corel painter and i'm still getting used to it but I painted this today and yesterday. It's souls and skulls. Kinda spooky.

you know, the more I think about this, the more angry I get. I'm not sure if that last post really conveyed my dismay. because like, I thought of something in my own brain and made it with my own hands. I didn't say anything when you were practicing drawing in the style of Crumb, even though I thought it was lame. I mean, Crumb is recognizable, so like, fine, people wouldn't accidentally give you credit for inventing that style.

I hope you're not getting paid for this commission. I am really really mad.

Sorry, geez. No I didn't get paid - we're just each doing something and trading art. I just wanted to see if I could do something like that.

I don't mean to be a bitch or ruin your fun or anything, but it's like you infringed on my intellectual property. It's not "inspiration", it's imitation...at least concerning the cut out figure and general theme.

I go out of my way to create things that are unlike anything I've seen before. I even do research to make sure that my titles aren't something that's already been done. It's not like my work is nationally famous or recognized. You took one of my ideas, but because anyone who sees the piece won't know who I am, they will attribute the idea to you. and that's not fair.

I hope you can understand why I'm so upset. because I'm pretty fucking upset.
