Beasties live May 25th on Radio 1

I'm sure it's been mentioned elsewhere already but the Beasties are on Radio 1 this Tuesday (May 25th) at 11am-1pm (GMT).
This time they're on the Jo Whiley Show and will be peforming two live tracks and being interviewed. The normal procedure on this show is that they do their new single and they then have to do a cover version of a track that you wouldn't associate with them. Whether they'll do this I dunno, but it could be interesting. You can listen on the web as before if you outside UK

I should be taping it and will do you a copy if you want. It depends on where I am though so don't count on it!

Can't wait for this...i'll try to make a digital recording from FM, although reception can be a bit hit-or-miss where I live. I'll put it onto the hub, but don't let this put anyone off making a higher-quality recording from satellite/cable etc..

I made a digital recording onto my HD from FM radio, it will be on the hub in the next half an hour.....I haven't had time to edit it so I haven't cut all the non-beastie stuff out.

I'll only be able to be on the hub for about two hours today so if anyone can grab it off me and share it with everyone 24/7, that would be cool.

About the show itself: it was dope, they only did two tracks live, Ch-Check It Out and Intergalactic, but they were interviewed and messed around like they always do...

Okay it's on the hub now, i uploaded to to the user 'maestro'....it's encoded as a 192kb/s mp3 file, so it will be a lot better quality than the radio 1 website stream.

About the show itself: it wasn't as long or as exciting as I had hoped (only 2 songs which we have heard before), but still it was a nice little appearance and it's cool to hear live studio versions of these songs. The sound from the studio did sound weird and a bit muffled, I think someone else mentioned this. Oh, and MCA sounded extremely gruff and hoarse, sounds like he needs to rest his voice for a while.
