I wonder if I can persuade them to play Boundry Park.
I believe I already know the answer.

Or just watching the actual videotapes and boxes.

the answer is no, they'd rather play at Saltergate. Beastie Boys would be more than welcome in sunny Chesterfield!

To be fair, I'd watch them anywhere! Even Earl's Court Arena...

How bout that for an annoying yet interesting thread. "Places Beastie Boys should play"
Could prove interesting, any one up for it?

Well back in 1998 when I saw them at London Wembly Arena for the Hello Nasty Tour, they did an extra date due to a mass sell out. Wembley Arena holds approx 15,000 maybe more!! there Dec 2004 Pageant concert was full as well, so I would think they could get at least 30/40,000 going to one of there concerts! If they were to hold an out-door venue in the summer, I could imagine they could at least double that figure. I'm going to see Oasis on 10 July @ MK Bowl just on my doorstep, I'm not a great fan but because I love out-door venues in the summer & like watching bands perform live then why not, alot of people do!!

When they played Glastonbury the crowd was about 40-50,000.

Well as Eminem did manage to fill the Bowl back in 2003 along with Cypress Hill, D12 and assorted other folks, I'm pretty sure they could do it too. Theres gotta be enough fans in the whole of England Ireland Scotland and Wales to do it.
And Eminenm is back in Septmeber so it was a real success.
