My son says hates U2 too. He pulls some of Bono's ego/persona into the music, I think, and that flavors his opinion a bit.

I'm not a huge U2 fan, but I do have Joshua Tree and a couple of their later albums. The later ones are okay, but I wouldn't put them in a time capsule or anything.

I disagree with the Rush and Abba, but everything else disgusts me enough. I'd just add 'Who Let The Dogs Out' and just about any song by R Kelly to your choices. Oh, and 'Shiny Happy People'.

Rush isn't my favorite band or anything, but I do listen to them, and acknowledge the hokiness of it all, which is pretty much why I listen to their music in the first place.
