letting down someone easy

cripe, this guy I made out with is laying the ground work for asking me out, I can feel it. I've been playing it short and cool with him, but he's still emailing me. he invited me to see his band play last night, but I didn't write him back until today. partly because he was like, "hey, I play bass with this band" and I was like, "uhh, duh, I know, I was at your house and in your tour van". I was thinking maybe I shouldn't have written back at all though. I had other plans on the south side anyway.

also, last night one of my friends that I made out with said he broke up with his girlfriend and I asked him why and he said, "we were fighting too much" and I said, "about what?" and he said "you" and I said, "what?! really?" and he was like, "yeah, I mean, it's nothing, nevermind" and then the subject got changed. that's fine though, I hope.

I must have magic lips, I just need to put them on the right person.
