The reason a lot of disses are left subliminal is to keep it strictly between the rappers. They know who the other is talking about, but the average listener doesnt even pick up on the line or pay much attention towards it. I know rappers like Ugly Duckling refer to "wack mc's" without really ever intending of naming names because theyd get a mudhole stomped in their asses, but the vast majority of beefs have started off subliminals which evolved to saying names.


And 50 Cent started his career off beef. I guarantee you Jada made money off 50 calling him out.
