1. go crazy and drive off a bridge
2. use my 2 tonne 4WD with a big ass bullbar to destroy anything in the nearby area
3. find the nearest object that i can slit my wrists with
4. get in trouble for doing any of the 3 above in the company car
5. wonder if the scream from me burning my scrotum will drown out the sound of their shite shite shit

It's not all about the music though for my dislike of Coldplay. Although the first whiny line of that song that goes 'you try your best but you can't succeed' (or something) makes me want to rip my ears off.

I hate snow patrol too! So very very much.
The problem is my mother likes them. They played at the lowlands festival this year and my mum phoned to ask if I've seen this lovely band called snow patrol as they were sooo good etc and I told her 'No ma, I've heard snow patrol once and nearly fell into a coma. I went to see [insert talented band here] instead.' And she was disappointed.

So, I hate them because:
1) They make me fall into a coma
2) I like to piss my mother off.

I just can't help thinking what would've been said by you guys 2 years ago.

I've hated them since Final Straw came out. Back then 'Run' was played to death. It was the festival singalong of that year or something.
But their music just bores me and I don't see why some people think they're so fantastic.
Their Lowlands gig was on TV some time ago and every song sounded the same and they just have no energy on stage. I like to be entertained when watching/listening to a live show, and they did absolutely not entertain me.

Final Straw is kind of better than the new one. That album had "How to Be Dead" "Wow" and "Run" which are all great songs.

the new ones not bad though. I even like Chasing Cars.

I hear the early stuff (which was reissued last year or so) is kinda Belle & Sebastian-y. Not that it would matter to anyone here, I don't think this board is into twee pop.

Belle and Sebastian are lovely. I've seen them live and instead of making want to fall asleep, they made me feel all warm and cuddly and lovey-dovey.
Yeah, Stuart Murdock & co. rule. Stu is a funny man too and he's sweet, plus B&S have a shiteload of instruments on stage to make the songs interesting. Not just the plain old guitar,bass&drums.
