the series ended in the u.s. some time ago, but then they re-aired the entire series beginning this summer.

what a great show.

we made up our own drinking game to this show, btw. but for the 1.45 hrs finale, we didn't start until there was only 30 minutes left. and even in that short of a time, i got drunk as a motherfucker.

o'reilly & dr. nathan alone together = 1

pretty much any time officer murphy yells "count" = 1

tits (either referring to drugs or the showing of actual tits) = 1

btw, when playing the drinking game, the credits don't count, because one season you saw penis twice alone in the credits.

all penises are now held to an oz standard -- they're either oz-worthy or not.

i'm watching oz right now!! i think this week may be the season finale, but i'm still watching taped eps from 2 weeks ago. its a double this monday, so i think if its not this monday its next monday. except thats xmas day. probably wont show oz on xmAs day.

the finale is a good as it possibly could be. it's almost an extra hour too. so much shit going on, it makes your head spin.

oz is definitely up there with twin peaks. granted, the last two seasons of oz were garbage. it went from a very compelling and no holds barred show about life in prison, to an unrealistic and ridiculous soap opera. the writing was on the wall when tom fontana started to incorporate supernatural elements into it, and it got pretty embarrassing. the first four seasons are solid: gang warfare, the drug trade, prison corruption, et al. adebisi and o'reilly were the shit.

Oz was great for the first 3 or so series, but then it went completely fucking stupid, with age-speeding drugs, IRA terrorists and ghosts :/ but it was still watchable. i liked the adibisi/kareem said power struggles.

the storyline where they took over em-city and had to be raided by SWAT teams and shit was amazing though.

hmm i probably only started watching from season 3 onwards, so i'm used to it. i'm going back and watching from the beginning.

Eh, I think they should have done a little better with it. The way they'd end seasons were ridiculous because you'd think it was finished for sure.

Between the prison blowing up and shit and then...Here's another season.

I've got seasons 1-5 on disk and I'd say that seasons 1-3 were the best.

I kinda wish Beecher stayed as the crazy ass cranium crapper because I hated all that gay shit he was doing.
