![]() Huge fog here this morning. So beautiful. Visibility (except for streetlights shining through) was about half a block.
Downtown, where I catch the bus (while it's still dark out), there was this business building nearby where some of the floors were already lit, but the fog made the structure itself disappear, so it just looked like fourteen stories of windows just hanging in the air. The streetlights are these long amber lights that are really nice, but it just looked like horizontal amber lightsabres hovering all down the streets. A really cool morning. ![]() FYI.

![]() For a second there, I thought you meant the 2005 movie with Tom Welling, and you lost all credibility.

![]() fog is cool. living on an island and, erm, therefore close to the sea we got super bad fog. it was really bad driving, though. we don't have a lot of streetlights so it would be pitchpitchpitch black and you had to drive at a total snails pace. and i am an awful, impatient driver anyway.

![]() fog sucks. in the summer, it gets foggy here almost every night at the same time. once it's foggy, the ground gets wet, and you can't skate. it does look cool rolling in, but growing up with it, and it always being around isn't cool at all.

![]() Makes me jealous, that does....one of natures finest features....elementally a switch hitter can play romantic, mysterious, sinister or eerie…..I grew up in Steveston and it always meant the arrival of fall....the sound of tugs, freighters and fish boats bellowing their way into the Fraser from the sea, call and answer of the horns.....raiding pumpkin fields…..awesome.....but you're in San Fran and that's probably the world's best city for it outside of London......especially when it encapsulates the golden gate so it hovers like that office tower you mentioned......shit,I do miss the sea and all it brings......a good fog and a long pier to walk on, everyone should be so lucky…....
