ideas for videos

you know, dave letterman hasn't had a good top ten list in about 20 years. he should post the subject of the top ten list and then let people go online and write for him. then just hire people to go through the best ones and i guarantee it would be much better....so where am i going with this? beasties always have great videos but maybe we could come up with an idea that the boys haven't thought of and maybe yauch will be sitting in his underoos reading the boards and our idea will find its way on to mtv or vh1 or electric company or zoom.

i don't think they need help with video ideas - i think MCA probably has a million ideas

I thought of a video for "The Vibes". You know that game, The Sims? Well, it would be a video game called "The Beasties", and just like The Sims, you would control the Beasties lives. But since this IS the Beastie Boys we're talking about, it would be really ridicolous and over the top. Also, in this game, you could type anything you want, and it would happen. So, if you type "Mike D: Fight A Chicken" a guy in a chicken suit would come out and tackle Mike D, and they'd fight like that scene in that Family Guy episode. Or you can type "Turn Adrock into a puppy" and BAM! Adrock transforms into a puppy. Or you can type "MCA: Fly Like An Eagle" and in the part where you hear "Thunderbird is the word and you're light as a feather" MCA soars into the sky. And then there would be this part where everything goes backwards, and another part where they rap in Spanish, and another part where they're all colored pink and purple. And another part where the player types "MCA: Turn into Vanilla Ice" and yep, Yauch becomes Mr. Rob Van Winkle.

And the end of the video, the tables are turned, as the Beastie Boys have a remote of their own, and they zap the player into the game...and the player fights the guy in the chicken suit. Luckily he/she survives, zaps him/herself out of the game, and turns it off, because there's no way he/she wants to play a game that weird ever again.

I think I need to see a psychologist.
