late on a friday...are you kidding me!

the worst part about it is that i've been sitting here for about an hour with nothing to do because my boss ran off somewhere and i am still waiting for him to come back with the stuff that he needs to give me so i can finish fixing them up so i can go home.

even if he did have somewhere to be, he should have had this crap ready for me earlier. and i wasn't even supposed to be in this afternoon, so who would have done it then?


this is frustrating because i have tickets for the hockey game tonight, and by the time i leave and get home it will be time for me to come right back to this area for the game. and the fact that i have soaking wet socks and boots on with dirty as hell jeans doesn't make things any better.

so i just had to call around in hopes that one of my roommates was at home and was able to pull some clean clothes for me so my friend meeting me at the game could grab them for me.

what a way to end the week!

he walked in a few minutes ago as i was finishing up this first part, which i just was faxed back and told me to see him in the conference room when i'm done with that instead of just giving me the changes.

so now i get to go talk to him for 20 minutes before actually getting the work started, which is already a few hours late.

well at least the rest of the night went well for me. i finally got out of the office at 6.


but i got some clean clothes brought to me, saw an awesome hockey game (shootout winner), and then enjoyed a half dozen or so beers back home with some folks before passing out.
