Default The $100 question about Pre-sale Tickets for NYC answered

I just called Ticketdisaster and heres what they said about the $100 pre-sale.

The pre-sale password was sent in an e-mail to employees of the benefit and friends of the band. In the e-mail it stated that the tickets would be $100 (pre-sale) but that when they went on sale to the public Friday that they would be $75.

That is what a supervisor at TM told me. Some way to take care of the people they thought should have access to the password by charging them $25 more.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing the info. Guess that makes us friends of the band.

Why, did you get an email with the password? (thought so...)

I e-mailed IMNF to ask about the price difference ...

Good Morning Teresa,

Could you tell me what VIP tickets entail and what the cost of them are. Also, is there any reason the pre-sale tickets were more than the general on-sale?

Sincerely,

Lynda,

VIP Ticket information for this event:

Tables for four with terrific sight lines on the second floor are still available for $1500 per table.

We also have seats with great views available along the 2nd and 3rd floor balconies for $1000 each.

All of these VIP tables and seats entitle ticket-holders who are 21 and older to an open bar.

Since IMNF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, $1200 of each purchase is tax deductible; $925 of each $1000 purchase is tax deductible.

Pre sale tickets have an extra cost because of the fact that you can purchase them before they go on sale to the public.

Hope this helps. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing VIP table/tickets.

Not to worry,
I'm sure the Yauch will make it tougher to guess the password for the pre-sale next time and no one will have to worry about paying any extra fees.
