![]() I've been trying to update my homepage and I'm getting totally frustrated here!
The page was done for me a few years ago and now I need to update pics and stuff. I copied the html from source code, made the changes where needed to, but I have the html on .txt and can't change it into Firefox Document. If I write .html at the end it says it should be firefox doc, but only opens as a text, and not on my homepage at all. What the heck should I do? A friend of a friend asked me to download Aptana, but that made me even more confused, don't understand it all... ![]() Can anybody help?

![]() so you copied the entire page of html code into a notepad document and saved it as text?
if you copy it all and save it as .html or .htm it should be fine. just make sure you save it the same way it was labelled as for your homepage. home.html or what not. you didnt delete any existing tags did you?

When I changed the files to .htlm the little icon show a small firefox, but the same as in Firefox Document. And when I put it in my ftp it only shows up as text. Gotta check if it works with just htm.
