Default I facebook stalked someone.

There's a girl who is in the uni gym every single time I go in there on a weekday evening. I mean, every single time. And she's hot. Really hot. So yesterday I saw her signing out and made a note of what time it was and then on my way out later on I had a look for someone who had signed out at 6.15 and lo and behold there she was. When I got home I looked up her name and found her. Her profile is open to anyone on the university network and now I know everything about her. Is this super creepy? It's not like anything is going to happen as I'm happily enslaved in a relationship... I feel like Nuzzolese.

some noise what I made

On the board is one thing, but definitely keep this to yourself otherwise.

The only part I find a tad creepy is that you noted what time she left in order to look up her name. That's serial killer-like. Except you aren't a serial killer so it's not that bad. Still. Creepy.

I'd be kinda creeped out if I found out someone did this to me.

Another reminder not to take any anonymity for granted.

If you have an open facebook account you shouldn't be surprised.

I'd say it's more detective-like.

If you become her facebook friend, show her you like her by sending her lots of farmville gifts

Who here has actually met Rirv to know he isn't a stalker and a sicko? Just because of his pictures? I dunno. I don't know...

I'd be flattered if I had a stalker. stalking should be seen more as a compliment than a threat.

Stalking only gets threatening when my subjects don't comply with my requests at the first time of asking.

hahaha

I dunno. I guess for women stalking potentially feels different. Mostly I imagine a stalker being really gross and pervy.

I saw a great animated short film once at a festival, then looked up the dude on f'book. He is/was hella cute, so I asked him to be my friend. We're now "friends", but have never interacted. He invites me to events but he lives in L.A., so obv, I can't go. He recently put up an ad thing to sublet his place with a bunch of pictures. and I have to say it's totally weird to be able to see into a stranger's life so fully.

I wonder why he's subletting his place....

edit: ah, he's house-sitting in silverlake. oh, internet.

This has happened to me.

At first it kinda dumbfounded me but that's only because I have no idea why anyone would like me...yes I do have extremely low self esteem. But when you think about it, it's kinda cute that someone would go to the trouble to check your status without creating the awkward situation face to face.

Don't worry Rirv, it's ok to mention it on here and maybe to your mates but I'd test the water first before mentioning it to her.

Oh and good luck

I'd be creeped out, but, like someone said...if your facebook account is open, you're asking people to check out all the details of your life.

Stalking is creepy and weird, I've never liked any of mine, nor been flattered, I'm uncomfortable with unbalanced relationships and they usually get MAD at some point so it's definitely something I try to avoid. Lots of privacy settings on facebook. People I don't want to hear from still occasionally find me though. Too bad I suppose.
