My old man was an old man (55 when he had me) and as a kid I used to always worry about coming home and finding he'd keeled over frying some eggs or something. I used to wind myself up about finding him dead.

I try to be relaxed about shit for the most part as an adult, but I still have a wicked 'worst case scenario' setting. I guess the goal is to try to make sure I only worry when it's appropriate.
