Default The Rolling Stones

So...what do you guys think about them? best songs? best albums?

Honestly, I was really never into them until recently. I bought the SNL Season 4 recently and the Stones are a guest on the first show. They perform: Beast of Burden, Respectable and Shattered. There's something about the live version of Shattered that really appealed to me. I had never seen a live performance of that song before and it totally changed my opinion on the stones. (At least pre-1980)

I was a huge Stones fan when I was a kid and they will always have a special place for me, but I find it almost impossible to listen to them these days. I haven't even bought any new Exile stuff. I tend to OD on music then I have to avoid it for a while.

OK I'll play.

# 1 Tie

# 1 It's really hard to top Jumpin' Jack Flash as far as releasing the dopest single ever in Rock and Roll history.

# 1 That said I put the live version of Midnight Rambler from "Get yer Ya's Ya's Out" in the equal but different category.

# 2 Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing in the Shadow? (wild-ride)
# 3 Honky Tonk Woman
# 4 Can't You Hear Me Knockin'
# 5 Sway
# 6 Beast of Burden
# 7 Waiting on a Friend
# 8 Sympathy for the Devil
# 9 Tie Bitch/Brown Sugar
# 10 Street Fighting Man

everything after #1 could change at any given moment, but the two at #1 have been consistent in my mine forever.

When I was in a band, one of our few covers was "Paint It, Black." I daresay we did it even better than the Stones.

Now and again during rehearsals we'd do "Can't You Hear Me Knocking," but we never trotted that one out onstage.

is that the performance of shattered where mick is obviously like ODing on some speed or coke or whatnot? Because if so, its pretty awesome.

Licking my lips, I pulled out his (also 13") cock. And in mid-blow, as I read the latest neo-feminist screed on Jezebel, I said to myself, "Oh god" -- both reacting to the size of his massive cock and the total injustices faced by women today.
