The Deluxe Banquet Version has been pre-ordered! TopSpin says it ships on Black Friday, we will see if they can deliver on time this go round... At least I now can sleep-in on Black Friday (like I usually do)!

Sadly, it cost me $34.04 more than it did when I pre ordered it from here http://www.vvinyl.com/v/beastie-boys...e-edition/1927 and from what I can see reward for the difference of $34.04 is this T-shirt http://www.ebay.com/itm/290629169252 If I sound bitter it is because I bought 3 copies of the "Deluxe Vinyl" and waited weeks beyond when others received theirs (had to buy one off of ebay to post on the site).

I want the book and the behind-the-scenes footage of FFYRR, but what am I gonna do with more vinyls and CDs that I already own?

I pre-ordered from Vintage Vinyl too (thanks) so I can't really see the point in ordering from Topspin for the sake of the shirt. I'm guessing everything else will be the same.

Well, you certainly are not going to claim the #1 spot...that's already taken.

And I wouldn't be surprised if after the banquest version is gone they serve up a buffet style and you can just get the book.

I want the book and footage too, but I don't want 12 versions of HSC2. I bought the deluxe package when the album came out. I'm not paying another $100 for repackaged material.

It seems like a money grab.

I remember when the beasties released Aglio E Olio for $9. It was cheap and new material.

Now they are repackaging old material and charging a fortune. I would be all for this new blue ray package if it was released 10 years from now, but I just spent $100 6 months ago on basically the same thing.

I guess the record biz ain't what it used to be and people have families to feed.

Love this, since Star Wars is the only other thing that gets into my pockets as easy as the Beastie Boys.

I think I only wanted this because it is the 1st time the B-Boys have release an LP on DVD or Blu-Ray, right? Have they done 5.1 stereo mixes before, (maybe on the reissues, can't remember).

I'm sure I will only listen to it a few times, like I did with the 1st faux-deluxe HSCp2 (on the white vinyl) and then it will just sit around, as I continue to listen to the Hot Sauce over and over again digitally.

I would love to get the book, and the Blu-ray, but I cannot pay another $100 for the same album again. I just can't do it.

And if it is anything like the last "Limited Collectors Edition", it will be available at Best Buy for $25 in a month.

It's funny how many people just want the book I'll honestly probably just give it one look through and never mind it again. I just want the 5.1 mixes new tracks and remixes and the videos on blu ray

got mine too. if it is any consolation the HSC2 screw up wasn't topspin but the actual place that did the shipping. i guess the boys got the message though cuz they fired that place and moved to a different fulfillment house. i know the person that was fired.

I wasn't as upset about the delay in shipping (hey, those types of things happen) as I was with the fact they expected you to wait until you got the download card in the mail before you could download the album. That should have been an immediate e-mail at 12:00am that morning.

They did fix the problem and send the download link a day later, but the damage was already done by that point.

The fact that the white vinyl with bonus 7' was available at Best Buy for $20 didn't sit right with me either. That made the T-shirt worth quite a bit of money!
