i'm getting a trad mom tattoo on my foot. i'm actually getting both mom and dad tattoos on my feet but i can only afford mom this time. a sacred heart with a cross coming out of the top with an aura all around (kinda haloish). a banner that says "momma" and maybe some lilies.

i'm making the heart purple since that's momma's favorite color.

i'm so excited! whee!

I've considered foot, but I'm still not sure I want my tats that visible...it's not very acceptable in the industry I work in.

I would like to get a little black cat to commemorate my lost kitty. but I don't know where I'd put it.

It's the Mighty Boosh mask, but for me it's less of a "I'm a fan of these guys"
and kinda a representation/reminder of all the hard work they've put in to get
where they are today, and some gay things like that. Yeah.

I think it would be on my left arm, high up, more on the inside so I can see it.

that's cool.^ don't go too small though. bigger is better. if you have any doubts I'll show you my small black tribal style tattoos and you can see how little definition they have now that the ink has spread out in my skin over the years. bigger designs age better. fact.

that's the way to go (drawing it on), think on it a looong while before getting it. i've been wanting these mom and dad tattoos for awhile now. i wanted them on my inside wrist for a long time, but i just think the feet are a much cooler spot. plus you can cover them whenever you want!

it's gonna hurt, but i'm ready!!!

Haha. I don't know, I thought I would have mentioned it.

Its a half-open lotus flower and some foliage. Its pretty big. I do have a hard time hiding it if I need to. I would have to wear full boots or pants that cover most of my shoe.

I also have a floral band on my other ankle. It was my first tattoo and reminds me what a silly girl I was at 18.

Anyway, I have thought about an inside of the wrist tattoo for a long time. Not sure if I'll ever do it, though. I think I might be done with tattoos for awhile.

believe me, they stop giving you shit after a bit. then they even start liking them. my momma actually had positive things to say about my new tattoo. of course it has her "name" on it and all.

Yeah right - I worked with some highschool kids, and one guy tattooed an American flag on his own chest with the word "leadership" over it. Tattooed some barbed wire on his arm. Home tatooing and doing your own is just retarded. Not to mention the stupid-ass "knife from Chronicles of Riddick" he convinced another guy to let him tattoo on. That guy ended up paying far out the ass to have it re-done by a professional.

no LIE, there's a reason you can't get tattooed until you're 18. and even then, it's ill advised. i waited to start getting tattooed until i was 27. i knew i was old enough to make the right choices then.

homemade/jail cell tattoos are the WORST!

i guess what i was saying is if you're an adult and chose to get a tattoo, your parents will get the clue that they're not calling all the shots in your life anymore. unless you're an EXTREMELY stupid high school kid.
