Actually, I say it about someone I see in passing very, very rarely. I'll say it about actors or whoever's on TV occasionally. Unless we're watching Indiana Jones, then I just short out the remote with my drool and I think he gets the jist.

I agree with all of you, I think talking about actors/actresses and such is normal, but it just sort of bugs me if my guy says it about someone we know, so then I just say something about his hot roommate etc.

Assuming we're talking about real-life people (as in, not celeb-types) that we might see out and about, I don't think either of us generally says anything. But, I might catch him, shall we say, regarding another female with interest. Not ogling or anything, he's not that type of guy; just sort of looking in a lingering way. At which point I will lean over and say something like "You know, she's probably a terrible cook" and we'll both have a bit of a laugh. We're married, but we're not blind, you know?
